I personally do not like gibson(epiphone) guitars but epiphone is like fenders squier guitars much less quality and parts. I would recommend you save your money till you can afford to buy a higher quality guitar any guitar that u buy for less than...

Some of the epiphones/gibson copies made in japan through the 70's were made with the gibson head stock. Does it say epiphone or gibson on the head stock?
