Let the (Carnival of) Madness Begin
The Carnival of Madness tour featuring Shinedown , Chevelle , Puddle of Mudd , Sevendust and 10 Years will be coming to Merriweather Post Pavilion on Wednesday, July 28th. I recently spoke to guitarist Zach Myers of Shinedown about the tour and Pigeongate.
While many artists are moving their tours to smaller venues or canceling shows the Carnival of Madness tour is drawing huge crowds and recently added a new date. Zach Myers attributes the tour's success to the package of bands. "If you can put together the ultimate package of bands on rock radio right now this would be it. It's a traveling radio festival which is awesome. Festivals are fun to play, you get to see all of your friends in other bands and we wanted to bring that festival vibe on the road.
This is the band's first time touring with Sevendust. "They're the one band we wanted to play with for the past 10 years but never got the chance to. We're all super excited to see them. We've toured with the rest of the bands before."
