Does anyone know how to pronounce Larrivee? It's french or something and I have the P-05 Larrivee guitar but how do you pronounce it? I think its Lar-ih-vey but I'm not sure. Help appreciated!

I've been thinking of buying a new guitar. I want a nice one for a reasonable price. My roommate has a top of the line Taylor, and while I really like it, I also like the way a Larrivee plays and sounds....
Fender or Yamaha are good medium price acoustic guitars, The Taylor or Martins will go for over $1000.
I just got a new Larrivee D-03RE acoustic and I store it all the time in the hard case, and I store it with a sponge in the sound hole to humidify it. I live in a very dry climate though. Do I have to worry about the guitar going bad with this...
Been in the music business for a long time and play classical guitars. It is best to get a device at a good guitar store to supply the right amount of humidity, or to dry it out. The sponge is nto a good idea.
