There is another consideration to your venture aside from location: size of your organ.

That said, if you can play one organ, you can play them all.

Arcadia: An antique fan's utopia

Since the early 1990s, this cow town has, well, rebranded itself. Yep, the annual rodeo is still alive and well -- but Arcadia is not just a cow town anymore. Today, it has become one of the top antiquing towns in the Southeast.

In the world of antiques and collectibles, Arcadia is big and getting bigger. At last count, its historic district is home to more than 30 shops (and more dealers who rent sections in each shop) offering folk art, military gear, retro clothing, jewelry, china, glassware, and 18th- and 19th-century furniture and collectibles. In the roughly six-block vicinity of Oak Street, serious collectors, along with the casually curious, can sift through a cornucopia of treasures -- from fine Tiffany lamps to funky hula lamps.

While retailers everywhere are struggling, Arcadia's antique retailers are making sales. Business is booming -- and the antique phenomenon has turned Arcadia around after a long slump in the 1980s and early 1990s. Was it part of some redevelopment plan? A city councilman's bright idea? Nope.
