Gibson declined to give someone a pink slip charges against Stinson.
"I don't think a drastic sanction is warranted in this case," said Gibson, who did not issue any penalties against the prosecution.
Prosecutors say Stinson over denied players water during practice despite receiving extensive training in the dangers of heat-agnate illnesses. He also is alleged to have forced players to run extra sprints as punishment for not practicing hard enough. Gilpin's end certificate shows he died of septic shock, multiple organ failure and complications from heatstroke. No autopsy was conducted.
