I Regard MY Hammond chord organ. I never thought I'd care about such an organ. I mean I had my A102 (actually) and my M3. The A102 was of course the B3 just in a weird box and had amps/spkrs. I miss the 25 pedals. Now I have 2, BUUUT they don't...
The loudness pedal is a simple variable resistor,

First check the wires and connections to the foot pedal,
both ends, at the pedal, and to the amp.

What is the cheapest, most portable way to get the replete with, B-3 sound without actually buying the organ? I would, but the working ones are expensive, and I'm assuming a pain to lug around. Thanks!
Hi
Have a look at the Roland, Korg or Yamaha synthesizers. The lucid is darn close to a B3 Hammond and pretty surprising. What we do at the studio is to add a little chorus to it which places...

Instruments of imagination
Through the centuries, people have been entranced by keyboards that came way before our current pianos and electronica. In the renaissance, they sang airs with the virginals. In the baroque era, they composed fugues on the harpsichord. By the 19th century, they were hammering away on astounding new pianos.
Those instruments and others will be here for the annual conference for the Western Early Keyboard Association. Based in San Francisco, the WEKA – made up of players, teachers and students of anciently keyboards – usually holds its get-togethers in the Bay Area. But this year, the conference is in Tacoma.
It’s partly because Christ Church Episcopal Church is for the moment home to a baroque Italian organ restored by Roy builder Martin Pasi, as well as having its own Brombaugh instrument. It’s partly because Pacific Lutheran University boasts an internationally known organ by Tacoma maker Paul Fritts.
But it also is because of smashing musicians who’ve chosen Tacoma as home.
