You should take pictures of it and put notices around your borough...like in the library or a nearby church.
My kindred owns a Story and Clark upright pump organ built in the late 18 hundreds. It's been in my family basically forever. It's a marvellous instrument. However, it REALLY needs tuned. Once you get below middle C, the notes are so out of...
A piano tuner very likely won't be able to help you. What you have is a reed organ. The sounds are made by blowing air across a metal reed. A person who tunes them would do as you were told. They would bombshell air across the reed then file or...

Although assisted by high-profile drummer Jim Keltner (along with Heartbreaker Mike Campbell and noted session guitarist Greg Leisz on one track each), Easton overdubs himself on a variety of stringed and keyboard instruments, adding to the album's already individual feel. On "The Man That You...

And while he's hardly the guitar genius that Charley Patton and Robert Johnson were, he's more than adequate, and his excellent band backs him up solidly and subtly, never stepping out too far. There's plenty of talent in Davis, but there's also an obvious and deep love for the blues, especially...

She's 100 and still full of life
"I characterize as laughter is my best medication," she said recently after listening to an hourlong concert of traditional songs at the Elmwood Estates retirement complex.
And away the close of the concert, she could easily be picked out of the crowd - she was the one near the front with the balloon tied to her arm, the one walking forward to attach oneself to the Grand Ole Country band for its concluding song.
After singing while keeping time to the music with her balloon arm, she explained, "I have had music in my bones ever since I can recollect."
According to her daughter Novice Bartlett, the band's lead singer always shares the microphone with her mother as a conclusion to the concert when the group plays at Elmwood.
Marlar said, "I love that group. I always get up there and sing the last song with them. They are a wonderful group."
Her interest in music goes all the way back to the Sears Roebuck catalog at a measure when a ukulele could be ordered for $1.98.
"I had a friend who had one, and I said, 'Momma, I want a ukulele.' So we ordered one."
