If you listen to the organ itsilf, and its instermental parts, its sound sounds like a Roland organ, kind of. Is it an Italian one or an English one. Also if you lisin closly, the Vox also sounds like a Continental VK-8.
Most keyboard players varied the "stops" from song to song
I haven't seen a close up of his Vox, but the English ones had wooden keys,
and the Italian ones came out later, (don't remember what year, too long ago,...
The sounds of the Roland Music Atelier Organ.
I have had 2 that will do the job... Hammond XK-2 and the one I presently have which is the Nord Electro.
What is better? Korg Tr61 or Roland juno-g?
here is what i need:
1. velocity touch/touch response (aftertouch is just optional)
2. lots of good/quality sounds like piano (grand piano), organ (hammond w/ good leslie effect),...
I have always been a fan of Korg more. Most of Rolands sounds are real Gimicky and cheap. If you are looking for the standard "DJ" style sounds then Go Roland. If you want warmth and genuine great audio go Korg. the only good thing about...

If a Rep. said this ... Most likely yes.
Is Burris a left wing rel. nut? Most likely yes.
Will Burris use this self proclaimed, "ordination" to further a radical leftist agenda? Most likely yes.

I'm in the market for an organ sim, and can't make up my mind between several different models:
Korg CX-3 (vintage or new)

Wow, you really surprised me on this one.
I have a Clavia Electro2 61. When I was shopping around, I played every other B3 clone I could get my hands on. Korg, Roland, Hammond/Suzuki, Viscount & Clavia. The Clavia was the best...

Reggae influence is in his Bones
Despite Bones’ successes, the Great Scott crowd seemed skeptical. Could this tall, lanky kid do Jamaican rhythms justice?
Backed by bass guitar, drums and a prominently featured Roland keyboard, Bones opened with the appropriately titled “Let’s Try Something Else.” Over a simple, breezy organ bounce, he optimistically mused, “We may not be getting any younger, but we’re always free.”
Songs such as “Something Else” showcased Bones’ acute self-awareness. Though the music moves with the spirit of Jamaican reggae and dub styles, he doesn’t mistake himself for Damian Marley, let alone Bob. If anything, his music recalls certain aspects of the Clash and other dub-influenced bands.
“Run for Your Life” had a prominent psych-rock flavor. “Dancehall” mixed an offbeat ska rhythm with rock guitars and pop-friendly lyrics. The song has no basis at all in actual Jamaican dancehall music, which is perhaps an indicator of Bones’ methodology: He remains blissfully unfazed by tackling reggae as an outsider, and succeeds by adapting his influences to his own ends.
