Like some unsystematically notes sound kinda brighter than the rest (throughout mostly the octaves that usually play with your right hand). Is that fixable? I got it habituated to from some lady.

It also may be that your piano is only just out of tune. I would suggest looking through your yellow pages and finding a piano tuner to take a look at it. If it's not out of tune I'm sure they'll let you be acquainted with what the problem is.

Trying a new tune

The decline has proved to be a great leveler, punishing both big and small enterprises. But amid the chaos, a piano tuner is striking a complementary chord with his niche business.

Grant Houston's piano rebuilding service has grown from a two-car garage on Benjamin Terrace in East Nashville in 1980 to a 30,000-square-foot West Tennessee factory that holds 175 pianos.

“The Boss around works in mysterious ways,” Houston said, working in his garage. “Ten months ago, this was all I got.”

At a without surcease when many small businesses would hesitate on a new venture, Turner last month opened his first retail store, which sells only American making-era pianos restored at his factory. All his pianos date back to the American production era, which roughly spans from the end of World War I to end of Just ecstatic War II.

Houston is confident that the Piano Tuning Nashville’s venture into Green Hills’ crowded retail landscape will take off. He has sold almost $600,000 worth of pianos in the past year and has plans for stores in Memphis and St. Louis down the lined up under.
