Has anyone transitioned from the clarinet to the bagpipes?

I've played the clarinet for 17 years and now I would like to learn the bagpipes. I am wondering if anyone has also decided to learn the bagpipes after having played the clarinet. Being that they are both reeded instruments, are the general...

Are the songs actually playing on a radio or television or is it in your head?

If it's only in your head then my first guess would be a type of seizure called a temporal lobe seizure. Believe it or not when someone frequently smells

What is the name of that song in spanish with bagpipes in the background?
Pipe Band

Its a rock song in spanish that talks about living life to its fullest, they play it often in X0 107.9 (houston) and it has bagpipes in the background with the music.

I don't know your song, but if it was spanishy, it was probably a set of Spanish Gaitas. Similiar to the Great Highlands, but are unique to Spain.

What kind of animal are bagpipes made from?

I know that guitars were strung with catgut in the past. I also know that drums were made from the taut skins of elks. Some people even say that xylophones were made from the ribs of really big lizards. But what about bagpipes? What sort of...

But when he's done, the instrument carries his distinctive style and tone. "Every maker has a unique quality to his sound," MacLellan said.

He makes each instrument "with great care from start to finish," he said. "In the beginning, it was hard to let go of them."

One of MacLellan's instruments will travel to his homeland of Scotland with The Citadel Regimental Band and Pipes to the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, a month-long nightly festival of music, pageantry and demonstrations by military organizations and entertainers from around the world. Eighty Citadel band members leave Wednesday for the event, where they will perform six days a week.

MacLellan donated the instrument to the Sandy Jones Invitational, a bagpipe group that was raising money to help the cadets pay for the trip to Scotland, said Jeff Stevenson, who was The Citadel's pipe major when the band last went to the Edinburgh event in 1991. The invitational was planning to auction the pipes to raise money, Stevenson said.
