Selmer 10S A Clarinet demo video
I am trying to locate the mid-section (with the notes/keys; section right below the mouthpiece/barrel) of my daughter's Selmer CL301 clarinet. Is this section for the CL301 interchangeable (same as) the CL300 or CL1401 models? Any other Selmer models
You can pretty much change any Bb clarinet midsection, as long as it fits. What I would do is hold the original (if you don't have it, skip this) up to the other and make sure the keys are in pretty much the...
I want to buy this clarinet instead of a Pruefer serial number 15137. Which one of these two clarinets are better?
I am an intermediate clarinet player.
Buy the Pruefer, because of my experience with Selmer made clarinets, they aren't that durable and they are more common with beginner players. Definately get the Pruefer. You won't regret it. :)
im taking my clarinet to india tomorrow. I need to know if its made of plastic or wood, or both, because of the humidity. Will the humidity ruin it if its made of half wood?
look on the bell to find a modle #. Or inside the bell. If it's shiney it's plastic, if it's dull it's wood.
please help me. im taking this clarinet to india. will the humidity ruin it?
umm it says selmer clarinet student - PL2 on the sheet.
My Selmer clarinet is made of a special plastic resin that is HUMIDITY RESISANT. I've never heard of the PL2 but that's what I know.

It was during this tour, when the troupe hit New York, that Manohari Singh purchased his adored saxophone—a Selmer alto sax, plated in gold. “He was in love with that sax,” says Kersi Lord, a fellow musician, a colleague in R.D. Burman’s extended orchestra, and a close friend. “He would never even let anybody else carry it.”
