I have had this clarinet since i was about ten, i don't know where it was bought. It is a Selmer Signet Special series, wooden. I know its old, just not exactly how old. There was a date etched in the back next to the serial number but i can't make
Selmer Signet Clarinets were made in the late 50's to the early 70's.
It's a lower mediumish quality instrument. If it was in good condition it'd probably be pretty good for a beginner. Some were made with a wooden inside and plastic outside, which for various reasons, is advantageous.

That's one of the better CHEAP clarinets. I once had a similar one. Want a HS* glass mouthpiece? I still have the one I used years ago. I prefer to play my Eb clarinet now.
It's not rare at all. It's actually a pretty common model and was very popular for a long time.
In typical condition it's worth about $75. In "needs service" condition it could be unsellable because a service on it will...
It's almost impossible to tell you this without the clarinet in hand.
I'd recommend you go to a decent repair shop. They would be able to tell you how old the clarinet is, and how much it's worth.
